Adopt a Brussels Griffon / Shih Tzu / Mixed

Meet Little Miss Carly.  She is a 6-7 year old Brussels Griffon mix , house trained  and weighs in at about 13 pounds. She was surrendered to URR by an elderly gentleman who could no longer take care of her. She was a bit of a mess when we received her as the owner kept her in a very dark house where conditions were very damp and dirty. Her skin and coat needed quite a bit of attention and her nutrition needed to be addressed.


Her skin and hair are now in healthy condition however she still has skin sensitivities and needs to be sure to stay on a healthy nutritional program and have medicated baths to help with her itching.
 

Her vision is a little bit compromised from being kept in such a dark environment for so long but it doesn't slow her down one bit! She requires eye drops twice a day to help keep her eyes comfortable Carly loves squeaky toys and to play with small balls. She loves to ride in the car and she walks well on a leash but can be a bit reactive when she sees other dogs and needs to be the diva in her home. So she needs a quiet forever home where she can strut her diva self and not share the love with a sibling. Carly is very cautious when meeting strangers but she becomes very attached to her human once she feels safe -


She loves to follow her human around the house when she's not busy diva napping and loves to snuggle right next to you at night....


 she makes a wonderful loyal companion. 

Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well. 

Adoption fee is $380

We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.
